To be fair God of War 2018 was so incredibly well refined from a gameplay perspective that's all they pretty much had to do is work on the few criticisms e.g. enemy variety, and then tell a story just as engaging. There is a huge difference, it's a 33% improvement in literal frames but that doesn't quite represent the actual benefit. In terms of frame time, it's halfway between 30 and 60 FPS. To say that half of the improvement from 30 to 60 isn't much difference is really, really, dumb.
